Halloween Frame

You will need

Simple top left mirror

A graphic of your choice

 

1: Open your image in PSP. Duplicate and close the original. Resize your image to 445 wide and 338 high. Your results may not be the same if you use a different size.

2: Set your foreground colour to black and the background to a medium colour from your image.

Set your foreground to the foreground/background gradient. Angle 45. repeats 3 style linear, invert is not checked.

Set your background to a gold or silver pattern.

3: Image add borders 3 with a colour not in your graphic. Select with the magic wand feather and tolerance set at zero and fill with silver or gold.

Select none.

4: Image add borders 2 with your medium colour.

5: Repeat step 3.

6: Selections, select all. Selections modify contract by 8. Selections invert.

7: Effects bordermania frame 2 with the default settings but put the top 2 settings at 8. Select none.

8: Image add borders 14 with a colour not in your graphic. Select with the magic wand and fill with your gradient.

Select none.

9: Repeat steps 3, 4, 5 and 6.

10: Image add borders 27 with a colour not in your image. Select with the magic wand and fill with the gradient, same settings.

Leave selected.

11: Effects, plugins Mehdi fur. Put both sliders at 35.

Leave selected.

12: Effects, plugins, Simple top left mirror.

13: Effects, plugins Filters Unlimited, buttons and frames, glass frame 1 default settings.

14:  Repeat steps 3, 4, 5 and 6.

15: Image, add borders 37 with a colour not in the image. Select with the magic wand and fill with the gradient, same settings.

Leave selected.

16: Effects. plugins, filters unlimited, buttons and frames kaleidoscopic frame (rectangular) with the following settings.

Leave selected.

17: Effects, plugins Filters Unlimited, buttons and frames, glass frame 1 default settings.

18: Image add borders 3. Select with the magic wand and fill with silver or gold.

Select none.

19: Apply your watermark and corners if required. I have not added corners as it seems busy enough without them. but the choice is yours.

20: Resize if required and save as a jpg. You are all done.
