1: Set the foreground to #c0c0c0 and the background to #808080.

Now set the foreground to the foreground/background gradient with the following settings. Angle 0 repeats 0 style linear. Invert is checked.

2: Open a new transparent canvas 700X500 and fill with the gradient.

Layers duplicate, image flip.

3: Open the 92MaskkelsWWA and minimize.

4: Layers, new mask layer, from image. In the drop down menu find 92MaskkelsWWA. and apply with the following settings.

Layers, merge, merge group.

Effects, edge effects, enhance.

5: Effects 3D effects drop shadow with the following settings.

Repeat drop shadow changing vertical and horizontal to -5 (minus 5)

6: Effects, plugins FM Tile Tools Blend Emboss with the default settings.

7: Layers new raster layer.

Using the selection tool set at rectangle feather and tolerance both set at zero select the rectangle in the center of the mask.

Selections, load/save selections. Save selections to alpha channel. leave selected.

8: Open the jcw_northern_cardinals_spring_blossoms tube. Click on the bar at the top, copy. Back to working canvas. Paste into selection. Selections, select none.

Using the deform tool stretch out the tube so as it fits better in the rectangle. It's okay if some goes over the side.

Select any tool to deactivate the deform tool.

Selection's load/save selection. Load selection from alpha channel. Selections, invert. Hit delete once. Selections, select none.

Adjust, sharpness, sharpen.

Layers duplicate.

9: X out the duplicate copy of the tube to hide it and click on the original to make it active.

Adjust, hue and saturation, colorize. Both settings on zero.

10: Make the duplicate tube layer active and remove the x so as it's visible. Using the eraser remove everything on this layer except for the 2 cardinals.

Adjust, brightness and contrast, gamma correction with the following settings.

Right click on the layer palette on the layer with the coloured cardinals. Merge, merge down.

Effects, plugins FM Tile Tool, Blend emboss same settings.

11: Open the jcw_cardinal_couple tube. Click on the bar at the top, copy. Back to working canvas. Paste as a new layer.

Image, resize 60% making sure all layers is not checked.

Position as in main graphic.

Adjust, brightness and contrast, gamma correction. Same settings as in 10.

Effects, 3D effects drop shadow with the following settings.

Reapply the drop shadow with -3 (minus 3) at vertical and horizontal.

12: Open the kgrendejanenesongbirds-mull tube. Making sure the tube layer is active click on the bar at the top, copy. Back to working canvas. Paste as a new layer.

Image, resize 60% making sure all layers is not checked.

Position as in main graphic.

Adjust, brightness and contrast, gamma correction. Same settings as in 10.

Apply both drop shadows as in 11. 

13: Open the BlueNoteBow tube. Click on the bar at the top, copy. Back to working canvas. Paste as a new layer.

Image, resize, 60% making sure all layers is not checked.

Adjust, hue and saturation, colorize with the following settings.

Position as in main graphic and apply both drop shadows as in 11.

14: Open the BellsAndRoses-ym tube. Click on the bar at the top, copy. Back to working canvas. Paste as a new layer.

Image, mirror. Image, resize 60% making sure all layers is not checked. Position as in the main graphic.

Adjust, brightness and contrast, gamma corrections, same settings.

Apply both drop shadows as in 11.

15: Image, add borders 1 background colour.

16: Image, add borders 10 foreground colour.

17: Selections, select all.

18: Layers, new raster layer.

Open the dmscardinalframe. Click on the bar at the top, copy. Back to woirking canvas. Paste into selection.

Selections, select none.

19: Making sure the frame layer is active, edit copy.

20: Repeat step 15.

21: Image add borders 10 foreground colour. Select with the magic wand feather and tolerance set at zero.

Edit, paste into selection. Selections invert.

22: Effects, 3D effects cutout with the following settings.

Selections invert.Adjust, sharpness, sharpen more.

Selections, select none.

23: Decorate the frame as you wish.

24: Add any text you require and your watermark. Save as a jpg. You are all done.
