Fantastic Machines Paint Engine

Mehdi Melt 1.1

Simple Top Left Mirror

An image of your choice

Gold or silver beads pattern

PLEASE NOTE: End results will vary slightly due to size of your image.

 

1: Open your image in PSP. Shift D to duplicate. Close the original for later use.

2: Set your foreground to a dark colour from your image and the background to a medium/light colour.

Set the foreground to the foreground/background gradient with the following settings and your background to the gold or silver beads pattern.

3: Okay now we can get started.

Image add borders 1 in your dark colour.

4: Image add borders 3. Select with the magic wand feather and tolerance set at zero and fill with the silver or gold beads.

Leave selected.

5: Adjust, sharpness, sharpen. Sharpen more.

Repeat sharpen more once.

Select none.

6: Repeat steps 3, 4 and 5.

7: Selections select all, selections modify contract by 7 and apply the following cutout.

Select none.

8: Image add borders 17. Select with the magic wand and fill with the gradient.

Select none.

9: Repeat steps 3, 4 and 5 twice.

10: Image add borders 27. Select with the magic wand and fill with the gradient.

Leave selected.

11: Effects, plugins Fantastic Machines, Paint Engine with the following settings. I have this saved as folds. I don't know if this is a setting that came with Paint Engine or one I saved myself.

Leave selected.

12: Effects edge effects enhance more.

Leave selected.

13: Apply the same cutout as in 7.

Select none.

14: Repeat steps 3, 4 and 5.

15: Image add borders 37. Select with the magic wand and fill with the gradient.

Leave selected.

16: Effects, plugins Mehdi Melt 1.1 with the following settings.

Leave selected.

17: Effects, plugins Simple Top Left mirror.

Leave selected.

18: Effects, edge effects, enhance.

Leave selected.

19: Apply the same cutout as in 7.

Select none.

20: Repeat steps 3, 4 and 5 once then step 3 once more.

21: Add corners if you wish, add your watermark resize if needed and save as a JPG. You're all done.
