Santa's Time Out

You will need

A Santa image

Filter Factory A

My zip file HERE

Both fills should be placed in the folder where you keep your patterns
Please do not change file names

 

1: Open your image in PSP. Shift D to duplicate. Close out the original.

2: Image add borders 3, white. Select with the magic wand and fill with gold.

Selections invert.

3: Effects 3D effects, Buttonize with the following settings. height and width both at 20. Opacity 70, transparent selected the colour is black.

Select none.

4: Image add borders 12. Select and fill with a bright red. Leave selected.

5: Adjust add/remove noise, add noise Gaussian, 25 monochrome is checked.

6: Effects, plugins Filter Factory A Pool Shadow. Play with the bottom 2 setting until you are happy with the result.

Select none.

7: Repeat step 2, but select none after adding the gold fill.

8: Image add borders 22. Select and flood with the dmsredtartan2 fill in the zip.

Leave selected.

9: Effects 3D effects inner bevel with the following settings. The colour should be the red used in 4.

Select none.

10: Repeat step 2, but select none after adding the gold fill.

11: Image add borders 33. Select and flood with the dmsgreenredtartan2 fill.

Leave selected.

12: Add the same inner bevel as in 9, but change the fill colour to #c0c0c0.

Select none.

13: Repeat step  2, but select none after adding the gold fill.

14: Add corners of your choice and you are all done.
