
Rockin' Merry Christmas

Please respect the tubers and do not change file names
Please note: This tutorial requires Animation Shop.
1:Open the dmsrockingbackground in PSP. Shift D to duplicate. Close the original. The selection you will need for the next step is saved in this layer although you won't see it just yet.
2: Layers new raster layer.
Selections load/save selections. Load selection from alpha channel.
3: Open the dmsrockinframe1. Click on the bar at the top, copy.
Back to working image. Paste into selection.
Adjust sharpness, sharpen.
Select none.
4: Open the DaisyWeb_Warm-Christmas-Dreams tube. Click on the bar at the top copy.
Back to the working canvas. Paste as a new layer.
Pull this layer below the gold frame layer.
5: Using the deform tool pull out the tube so as it fits nicely inside the gold frame.
6: Click on the gold frame layer to make it active.
Select the outside of the frame with the magic wand.
7: Go back to the tube layer and hit delete.
Select none.
8: Go back to the gold frame layer. Select inside the frame with the magic wand, and apply the following cutout.

Select none.
9: When you are happy with how everything looks merge all. Flatten.
10: Image add borders 8 black.
11: Open the dmsrockinframe. Click on the bar at the top, copy.
Back to working canvas. Paste as a new layer.
Merge visible.
Add your watermark at this point.
13: Duplicate this image twice.
Close off the top to layers for now and make sure the bottom layer is active.
14: Open the lhimage1.
Image resize 80% Bicubic making sure all layers is checked.
15: Click on the bar at the top, copy.
Back to the working canvas. Paste as a new layer.
16: Image mirror.
Position as in the main graphic. Adjust sharpness, sharpen.
17: Duplicate this layer twice.
X out the 2 copies of the rocking horse and position your layers as in the graphic below.

18: Make sure the bottom 2 layers are visible. Click on the bottom rocking horse.
Image rotate, free rotate with the following settings.

19: Right click on the bottom layer. Merge visible.
X out this layer.
20: Open the first copy of the background and the first copy of the rocking horse. Merge visible.
Duplicate this layer once and pull to the top of your layers pallet.
X out both of these layers.
21: Open the last copy of the background and the last copy of the rocking horse.
Make sure the rocking horse layer is active.
Image rotate, free rotate with the same settings as before, but this time turn the direction to right.
22: Layers merge visible.
If all went well you should now have 4 merged layers.
23: Save as a PSP image.
Animation.
1: Open your image in Animation Shop. Click on the right side to pull out all of the layers.
2: Edit select all.
3: Animation, frame properties 45 or a speed of your choice.
4: View, animation. If you are happy with the animation speed save as a gif image and you are all done.
