Winter Skaters

You will need

A globe tube.

A globe base tube

A skater tube

A winter picture

1: Open a new canvas 500X500 transparent. You can resize when you are done.

2: Open your globe tube in PSP. Copy and past to the new canvas. Minimize for later.

3:  Open your base tube. Copy, paste onto the canvas with the globe.

4: Position the base at the bottom of the globe. You may have to do a little resizing.

X out the bottom layer. Layers merge visible.

5: Open your skater tube. Copy, paste as new layer.

Resize so as the skater takes up about half of the width of the globe making sure all layers is NOT checked.

Position at close to the bottom left of globe.

6: Duplicate your skater image 3 times for a total of 4 copies.

7: X out the top 2 copies and move the first copy to the right

8: X out the first 2 skater layers and make the 3rd one active removing the X from that layer.

Layers Mirror.

9: Un-X the second skater and move the mirrored image over the top of it. Of course the 3rd skater will be skating the opposite way.

10: Un-X the 4th skater. Image mirror. Position so as this skater is opposite the first one facing the other direction.

11: Duplicate your globe layer 3 times for a total of 4.

12: X out all layers except for your original skater layer and the first globe layer. Layers merge visible.

Work through all the pairs until you have the background layer and 4 merged layers.

Rename 1 through 4.

13: Open a new canvas a little larger than your globe tube. (Just the globe not the base.)

14: Paste your globe tube to this new canvas.

15: With your preset shape tool draw a circle over the top of your globe. Once it fits perfectly delete the globe layer. Convert to raster layer. Select the canter of the circle with your magic wand.

16: Open the winter picture and place below the circle layer. Selections invert. Hit delete once!

17: Delete the circle layer.

Click on the snow image. Paste as new layer to your skater canvas.

Move below #1.

18: Make 3 copies of the background for a total of 4. Position one below each globe layer.

19: X out all layers except for the original background and 1. Merge visible. Work your way through all the layers merging the pairs. Rename 1-4 again.

20: Now is the time to add your text. Ad a new raster layer. Depending on the font you use will depend on the size you will need. Have your text floating. Defloat when you are done.

Duplicate the text 3 times as before positioning and merging with the layers 1-4.

Delete the background layer as there is no need for it.

Crop away any excess.

21: Save as a PSP 7 image.

Animation

1: Open your image in Animation shop.

2: Open all 4 layers.

3: Edit select all.

4: Animation, frame properties 55. Save as a gif image and you are all done.
